Description of IR Obstacle Sensor**

The sensor module has a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving tube, when detecting direction meets with obstacles (reflecting surface), reflected infrared receiving by the tube.

After the comparator circuit processing, green indicator will light up, at the same time the signal output interface output a digital signal (a low level signal), can be adjust the detection distance through the potentiometer knob, effective distance range 2 ~ 60 cm, easy to assemble and use. So it can be widely used in robot obstacle avoidance, obstacle avoidance car, line count, and so on many occasions.
