Product details
Made possible by exploring innovative molded plywood techniques, Iskos-Berlin’s Soft Edge Chair blends strong curves with extreme lightness to create a three-dimensionality not usually possible with 2-D plywood.
Description
The LM2596 Step-Down (Buck) Converter Module is a switch‑mode DC‑DC voltage regulator that can be adjusted. It can lower DC voltages without making too much heat. It runs at a 150 kHz switching speed. It can accept input from 4 V up to 40 V DC. It gives an output that can be set from 1.25 V to 35 V DC using a multi‑turn potentiometer on the board.
It can deliver up to 3 A continuously if you add a heat sink. Because of this the LM2596 Step‑Down (Buck) Converter Module is a power module used in embedded microcontrollers, robotics chassis, battery‑powered electronics and custom test‑bench power supplies.

Key Features & Benefits
- High Efficiency Conversion: The LM2596 Step‑Down (Buck) Converter Module uses switch‑mode operation that can reach up to 92 % efficiency. This cuts heat loss a lot more than a regulator such as the LM7805.
- Precision Multi‑Turn Potentiometer: The LM2596 Step‑Down (Buck) Converter Module has a built‑in 10‑turn Bourns‑style trim potentiometer. It lets you adjust the output voltage precisely even to small fractions of a volt.
- Wide Input/Output Envelope: The LM2596 Step‑Down (Buck) Converter Module can take inputs, up to 40 V DC. It can then give logic levels like 3.3 V, 5 V, 9 V or 12 V safely.
- Integrated Fault Protection: The LM2596 Step‑Down (Buck) Converter Module has built‑in fault protection. It shuts down when it gets too hot limits current and stops circuits.
- Compact Prototyping Footprint: The LM2596 Step‑Down (Buck) Converter Module has pre‑drilled holes in the corners. Clearly labeled solder pads. This makes it simple to mount on a panel, perfboard or chassis.
