Product details
Made possible by exploring innovative molded plywood techniques, Iskos-Berlin’s Soft Edge Chair blends strong curves with extreme lightness to create a three-dimensionality not usually possible with 2-D plywood.
Description
The Mixed Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Kit is a set of standard polarized radial capacitors. The kit covers values from 1 µF up to 2200 µF. These capacitors are made for through‑hole PCB mounting and for use on breadboards. The Mixed Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Kit is ideal for smoothing power supplies decoupling voltage rails buffering energy and coupling audio signals.
Each capacitor in the Mixed Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Kit has markings for value and voltage. The Mixed Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Kit also has a stripe on the cathode lead that shows polarity. This stripe stops the Mixed Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Kit from being connected during assembly.
Key Features & Benefits
– Wide Value Spectrum: The Mixed Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Kit includes low‑capacitance values such as 1 µF and 10 µF for decoupling. The Mixed Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Kit also offers high‑capacity values such as 1000 µF and 2200 µF for reservoirs.
– Effective Power Ripple Smoothing: The Mixed Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Kit stores a lot of charge. This storage removes 50 Hz/60 Hz and 100 Hz/120 Hz AC ripple after bridge rectifiers.
– Clear Polarity Identification: The Mixed Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Kit shows a negative (‑) stripe on the outer case. The Mixed Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Kit also uses negative lead lengths to avoid mistakes when populating a board.
– Standard Through‑Hole Pitch: The Mixed Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Kit uses industry‑standard lead spacing from 2.0 mm, to 7.5 mm. The Mixed Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Kit fits perforated prototyping boards, stripboards and standard PCBs.
– Stable Thermal Performance: The Mixed Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Kit is rated for operation up to +85 °C or +105 °C. The Mixed Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Kit gives service life in power converter modules.

Common Values & Typical Circuit Roles
- 1uF – 10uF (50V): I find that these capacitors block current and couple signals in analog audio preamplifiers and they also serve as timing elements when a voltage regulator IC starts up.
- 22UF – 47uF (25V–50V): I find that these capacitors provide decoupling on the power rails of operational amplifiers and on the outputs of linear regulators such as LM7805 and LM317.
- 100UF – 470uF (16V–35V): I find that these capacitors act as local energy reservoirs for microcontrollers for motor driver ICs like L298N and TB6600 and for networks that suppress back-EMF from relay coils.
- 1000UF – 2200uF (16V–25V): I find that these capacitors are reservoir filters that sit directly after an AC-, to-DC diode bridge rectifier smoothing the unregulated DC bus.
